A soon to be Homecoming!!

The news today is that Isabella is suppose to come home next Wednesday. I am so excited. The discharge planner Hillary will be getting everything ready AGAIN for her to go home. We are cutting our nursing from 24 hours a day to just 18 hours a day. This is so we can have time in the evening as a family. Since we have my mom and dad here all of the time we thought we would have plenty of help to manage. She had a very therapeutic day with physical therapy, occupational therapy and music therapy. Music therapy is her favorite. She loves music, especially classical music. So thank the good Lord she got her hearing back!!! So, we are excited, nervous and scared all at the same time. It is a big deal to come home when you have a vent and a g-tube. She continues to teeth but has not gotten any new teeth in. Her new fav thing is ice chilled pacifiers. Well, not too much to report today. She continues to make progress and as always we thank everyone for their prayers. She is living proof that prayer works!!

I have mixed feelings about Bella going home! What will I do without her on the weekends?! ...but I know she's only going to get better at home.

Last night we did get to have some special Bella-Sarah time though. We rocked and read all of her books and she had such a great time. She was happy and kicked the whole time. I don't know what she liked so much-the reading, the rocking, being held? She was a happy (and purposeful) girl though!

Much love,
Sarah

That is such amazing news. Hopefully we can come up and see you guys tomorrow if that works. Micah and I will be praying very hard and making sure to have a good talk with Gabi to hold Bella's hand really tight to make sure she goes home and stays home this time!
