We will be going home in the morning. YEAH!! Today Isabella's home health nurses came to visit. Her night nurse actually has a child at home who has a trach and is on the vent. Bella is still confused about night and day. She did not go to bed until 9:00 a.m. She is sleeping at the moment but we have been trying really hard all day to keep her awake. When she decides she is going to sleep, she sleeps. She is out like a light. She only woke up briefly during her bath and trach care. She didn't even open her eyes to greet her new nurses. So hopefully she will get back in the swing of things. Well, I have lots to do to get ready to leave in the a.m. Bella is doing great. Prayer does work!!
Love

I promise I tried to get her to go to sleep. She didn't even want to sleep when we rocked. I'm thinking that she falls asleep later in the morning in each day, so maybe in like 2 months she will be back to sleeping at night! How did she ever get so confused. Despite what some may say, it isn't the fault of her night nurses. Although we love her and love to play we don't keep her up all night long! She just wanted to spend some quality time with me last night!
I've had alot of fun looking at these pics and seeing how much Isabella has grown! What a blesssing to have such a wonderful group of caring people around to help you all during her hospital stay. Welcome home, Isabella!
